Do you Travel?
Absolutely! My dream is to blend my travel experience and photography experience and am currently offering a discounted rate for an opportunity to do just that.
How long have you been doing this?
I photographed my first wedding in Spring of 2011 (who let me do this when I was 16?!) so it has been 12 years, but I consider the last 3 to be those I'm most proud of
How many photos do we get?
It depends entirely on your session, but I do not gate-keep! Meaning, if the image is good, you will have it. Smaller sessions range from 50-100 images, while events and weddings range from 200-500 images. That being said, for the occasional "mini session" you will receive around 15 images
How do we get our photos?
You will be sent a "sneak peek" within 48 hours of our session via text, followed by your full gallery available as a downloadable Pixieset gallery sent to your email.
Do you retouch photos?
I pride myself in capturing as close to what I want in-camera as possible, but I do basic retouching. I'll balance the color and lighting, take away distractions from the background, and remove any day-of blemishes. However, I do not include any major retouching (removing glasses, braces, etc) but can outsource your images for more extensive edits upon request, for an additional fee.
Whats your turn around time?
Most sessions will be in your inbox within two weeks, while weddings and large events turn around within four weeks. Rush edits can be made for an additional fee (agreed upon at the time of booking)
How do we book you?
Let's chat! It goes like this: you contact me via email or text with your inquiry, I gather some basic information from you, send you my fees, sample of my work and a copy of the contract, you read over it and ask any and all questions you have. If I am a good fit for you you just print the contract, fill it out and send it with your deposit. If I am not a good fit for any reason, I am happy to help you find someone who is more well-suited for your needs!
Can you help us with planning?
I would LOVE to help! This question usually pertains to weddings, and having been in ten weddings and photographed 30+ I have as much or as little to offer as you'd like. As for other sessions I am here to help with every aspect: location, date, time of day, styling, etc
How far out do you book?
It completely depends on the season. Reach out as soon as you are even slightly interested and we will take it from there.
Deposits? Refunds?
My availability is never guaranteed until a deposit is put down, which consists of 10% of your session fee. Once that deposit is there to hold your place, if for any reason you need to cancel it is nonrefundable but if I am responsible for canceling I will refund your deposit (and full fee if paid)
I want things to work out, so if rescheduling is at all possible I am happy to work with you to find a solution!
**Weather also plays a role in an occasional washed out session, in which case we would either reschedule or if you decline that option you would receive your session fee back, minus the deposit.
What should we wear?
I am developing a style guide to send to all clients, but until then we can chat through options you are considering and I can give some helpful tips. Much of it depends on your style and is not the same for everyone!
